Avery Update

Unfortunately Avery did not get her new hearing aides on Friday. There was a misunderstanding between our audiologist and the manufacturer and the hearing aides are not compatible with Avery's ear molds. The only molds they work with are designed for teenagers, they are very small and are placed inside the ear canal. I was not really bothered that she didn't get the new ones, other families that have been waiting for them now have to wait another month or more to get hearing aides at all.

The audiologist was concerned with Avery's lack of sound making (just as the hearing specialist was) but she was very excited that Avery actually did something correctly in the sound booth.

BreeAnn came for Avery's physical therapy today. They have a lot of fun playing. Avery is pulling up to EVERYTHING and cruising along the furniture. We were trying to get her to turn from the couch to her table toy, so she would have to balance for a moment in between. Avery doesn't trust herself and just wants to sit and turn.

But she is making process she should be walking in another month or so.Oh yeah it is also snowing outside.
