Bear Lake

Every year we join my family at Bear Lake for Raspberry Days. Usually Raspberry Days falls close to my birthday. But this year it was a week earlier. This year we also tried to have all four of us sleep in a tent. Friday night was a little difficult, I didn't sleep much between Kinley tearing off the blankets, listening to the millions of cars driving by at 90 mph, and it freezing cold. The second night was much warmer and much better.

Kinley rode the tube with Jimmy. Jimmy tried to keep from smashing Kinley and he ended up flipping the tube. Kinley was mad and was finished.
Avery and Kinley lounging on the floating island.
Avery playing in the sand about five minutes before she puked all over everything. She had a 24 hour stomach bug. It wasn't pretty.
Chantel showing off on of the many frogs she caught. In all of my years at Bear Lake we have never seen frogs. But this year it was kind of swampy on the beach. You can see the weeds in the background.

Overall it was a nice weekend, even with a sick baby. Jimmy got up early Sunday morning and met his dad and brother in Evanston for a drive to Kansas. The girls and I drove home later Sunday with a mountain of dirty clothes and happy exhausted faces.
