I saw this fence/gate system on Jon & Kate Plus Eight and went in search of one for our house. Thank the good old walmart.com, it was $50 well spent and saved use a little sanity and a lot of ornaments and wrapping paper.

Oh Christmas Tree
I knew a few months ago that if we were going to put up a Christmas tree this year we were going to have to protect it from little fingers. For Kinley's first Christmas we put the tree on the coffee table where she couldn't reach it. Our tree now is too large and we don't have a coffee table.

You might have been able to get away without it - she doesn't ever touch my tree. But who wants to risk it!
