Vancouver, British Columbia
I was fortunate to attend this year's Pacific Region Art Education Summer Leadership Conference in Vancouver a few weeks ago. It was incredible. I attended the pre-conference event and was able to see some awesome parts of Vancouver. We stayed on the University of British Columbia campus. On Thursday we went to the Belkin Art Gallery, the Museum of Anthropology, Granville Island, and the Capilano Suspension Bridge. We came back into the city for an incredible dinner at the Jericho Boat Club.
Friday we had a full day of meetings and then went back to Granville Island for dinner at Bridges. Saturday was another day of meetings, letting out a little early so that we could catch the ferry to Bowen Island and dinner at an art teacher's home. Sunday included a couple hours of meetings and then a flight home.
